Beautiful, Huge 18K Victorian Fob.

This has to be one of the most beautiful fobs in existence and museum quality. I have no way of determining the actual age or origin of this piece. It was undoubtly made for some person of high position. The chain this was worn on was larger than a pencil. The window side of the rotating fob has a floral arrangement made of 3D tricolor gold, edged with a gold mirror. The glass is faceted to match the stone on the opposite side. It is shown with an oversized 18 size watch for size comparison. I have inspected it very closely and find no marks.

Hamilton 1906 Great Masonic Dial

You see a number of 10s, 12s and a few 16s with Masonic Dials but 18s are few and far between. This is probably not the original watch in this case, since it is a hunter movement and there are some other case screw marks. It's not to bad a case, does have some brass showing on the pendant,bow,back and bottom. Some where along the line this nice watch probably lost it's fine gold case. The pictures don't do the dial justice, the dial is a flat off white non glare. The tools are bright shiney Gold. there are a few small smudges and scratches but you have to look hard to see them.
